10/10, will do it again. Went with a friend to get a 4.6 v8 out of a Mach 1 for only $200 + $150 labor (worth not having to do it yourself), ended up buying the lovely hood you see on this subaru here for another $50. They also have a forester so I can pick up some parts for my lesbowagon.

Nice find, was it a junkyard that you can pick and pull?

I wish I could sore deals like that our junk yards are pretty picked over and for some reason cool stuff never makes it in.

Yes, you just signed in and went hunting. They also had parts available at the desk and mechanics to get items for you too.

We have three junkyards within 5 miles of my house. One is an import yard, one is a pick n pull, and the other is domestic. Between the three they have two Miatas and they are both 1.6 cars. Although the import yard did have a Merlot M edition with bbs wheels that was a whole driving car for $1500.

Wow, I am completely jealous. Who would send that poor thing to a junk yard?

I don't know but a friend already bought it. I didn't even realize it was an M-edition when I told him.

Theyre even better if you have a common car and color. Someone hit my car door. Insurance wouldn't cover it. So I traded the smashed door with a new one, same color, + 50. Installed myself in 1 hour. Like it was never got hit.

Cool. I don't think any of the pick and pulls around here have people to pull things for you, but I could be wrong since I haven't been in the market for an engine or anything large since they opened.

You had to pay labor, it cost a little more but $150 for a motor pull isn't bad at all. That saves me a lot of time. The one thing I'm disappointed in is that I haven't been to one sooner.
